Qualifications

- Master's in Social Work, Education, Sociology or a bachelor's degree in relevant discipline with 1-2 years of relevant social sector experience.
- Exceptional freshers with relevant internship/field experience may also be considered.
- Fluency in Tamil and English (reading, writing, speaking).

Roles and Responsibilities:

Program Development & Management:

- Develop and implement NavSahyog Foundation programs in various geographical locations.
- Monitor program quality and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with partners and stakeholders to co-create and enrich program content.

Training & Capacity Building:

- Identify training needs for the internal staff.
- Develop offline and online training materials for the field team and the community.
- Organise and conduct training and orientation programs.

Monitoring & Evaluation:

- Design, conduct, and analyse impact surveys and studies.
- Support field teams in implementing program corrections and new initiatives.
- Collect data from various stakeholders to measure program impact and quality.

Documentation & Communication:

- Create process documents for various departments.
- Assist in developing engaging social media content.
- Monitor user engagement and analyse feedback on social media platforms.

Community Engagement:

- Build positive relationships with children, parents, teachers, and community members in the assigned territory.
- Identify and manage relationships with local authorities, including Panchayat leaders, Panchayat development officers, and education officers.

Field Support & Reporting:

- Conduct regular village visits to monitor, review, train, and guide field teams.
- Connect and collaborate with teachers, parents, and community members during village visits.
- Provide timely and regular reports on program activities and progress.




- Manage ongoing feedback loops to improve program effectiveness.

Innovation & Best Practices:

- Continuously innovate and identify recent strategies to improve program delivery.
- Share best practices and learnings with the team.

Ideal Candidate Profile

- Deep commitment to the development sector, particularly children's well-being (ages 5-14).
- Passion and skills in program development, training, and capacity building.
- Comfortable working with diverse stakeholders in rural communities.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Tamil. (reading, writing, and speaking)
- Ability to travel extensively and stay in villages as needed.
- Flexible and adaptable to meet community needs.
- Prior village experience/internship is a plus.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong computer skills (spreadsheets, presentations, email, Google Drive).
- Adept at defining and implementing processes.
- A smartphone and a laptop are required.
- A two-wheeler with a valid driving licence is essential.
- Social media skills (WhatsApp, Facebook, etc.) are a plus.

Location: Denkanikottai, Tamil Nadu

Remuneration: Competitive and commensurate with experience.

ABOUT THE NASAHYOG FOUNDATION:

- At NavSahyog Foundation, we develop life skills and creativity in village children so that when they grow up, they take to entrepreneurship to create a superior livelihood for themselves and others. We work with children aged 5-14, their most impressionable years.
- We do this through sports, storytelling, experiential learning, and creative activities.
- In the context of village children, we developed our program from the ground up and co-created it with input from the community.
- We are currently present in villages across Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and Nagaland, where we are conducting our program daily in each of the villages.
