We are seeking a detail-oriented and safety-conscious Production Operator to join our thermal processing team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing, loading, and operating state-of-the-art vacuum furnaces to heat-treat metal components according to strict aerospace, automotive, or industrial specifications. Key Responsibilities1. Furnace Operation & Monitoring

- Load and unload vacuum furnaces utilizing forklifts, hoists, and manual material handling equipment.
- Select, set up, and start prescribed thermal cycles and recipes on furnace control panels.
- Monitor vacuum levels, leak rates, and temperature profiles during cycles to ensure they match customer specifications.

1. Parts Preparation & Fixturing

- Rigorously clean and degrease metal parts prior to loading to prevent contamination under vacuum.




- Rack and fixture parts efficiently to maximize furnace load capacity while ensuring uniform heating and cooling (quenching).
- Apply stop-off coatings or masking agents where required.

1. Quality Control & Inspection

- Perform post-heat-treat visual inspections and dimensional checks.
- Conduct basic hardness testing (e.g., Rockwell or Brinell) to verify parts meet hardness requirements.
- Accurately complete routing sheets, furnace logs, and quality documentation.
