Role Description The Production Engineer will oversee day-to-day manufacturing operations for brass components and plug inserts at the Jamnagar facility. This is a full-time, on-site role responsible for planning and monitoring production activities, optimizing workflows, and ensuring alignment with quality and safety standards.

The Production

Engineer will analyze process performance, identify improvement opportunities, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement corrective and preventive actions.



Daily tasks include coordinating production schedules, supervising shop-floor execution, troubleshooting technical issues, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. The role also involves clear communication with supervisors, operators, and quality teams to meet output targets and customer requirements.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Production Engineering skills, with knowledge of manufacturing processes for metal components and assembly operations.
- Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills to review production data, diagnose issues, and drive process optimization.
- Candidates should possess experience in Production Planning, including scheduling, resource allocation, and workflow coordination.
- Candidates should possess Quality Control skills, with familiarity in inspection methods, tolerance checks, and adherence to quality standards.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills for working with shop-floor teams, management, and cross-functional departments.
- Diploma or degree in Mechanical / Production Engineering or a related field is preferred.
- Experience in metal or brass manufacturing, casting, or component assembly is an advantage.
