Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Production Engineer role based in Chennai.

The Production

Engineer will oversee daily manufacturing operations, including monitoring production lines, optimizing workflows, and ensuring adherence to technical specifications and safety standards.

Responsibilities include planning and scheduling production activities, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and analyzing data to improve efficiency and reduce downtime. The role also involves implementing quality control measures, troubleshooting process issues,



supporting continuous improvement initiatives, and maintaining documentation related to production processes.

The Production

Engineer will collaborate closely with supervisors, technicians, and quality teams to meet delivery targets and maintain high product reliability.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Production Engineering expertise, with knowledge of manufacturing processes and equipment.
- Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills to interpret production metrics, identify root causes, and drive process improvements.
- Candidates should possess Production Planning capabilities, including scheduling, resource allocation, and workflow optimization.
- Candidates should possess Quality Control skills, with experience in inspection methods, standards, and corrective actions.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills for coordination with cross-functional teams, reporting, and documentation.
- Relevant engineering degree (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or related discipline) from an accredited institution.
- Experience in EMS, PCB manufacturing, or high-volume electronic production environments is an advantage.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing, 5S, and continuous improvement methodologies is beneficial.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, on-site production environment in Chennai and manage multiple priorities.
