We're looking for a Growth Product Owner who owns outcomes, not tickets. You'll take full ownership of the product and growth mechanics that turn our large audience into engaged, paying subscribers: the IE+ paywall and checkout, the app experience, and — critically — our newsletter and email deliverability infrastructure.

You'll work directly with the CEO and the growth, editorial, and engineering teams. This is a hands-on ownership role. When a subscription funnel underperforms or a deliverability issue appears, we expect you to diagnose it, plan the fix, and drive it — not wait for a brief.

What you'll own: Paywall strategy (metered / freemium / hard), pricing, welcome offers, and packaging

Checkout and billing (Stripe / Braintree / RevenueCat), failed-payment recovery (dunning)

Churn, retention, and LTV across the full subscriber lifecycle

Newsletter growth and the health of our sending infrastructure

Sender reputation, IP/domain warm-up, subdomain strategy, SPF/DKIM/DMARC, list hygiene

Partnering with the CRM/growth team on segmentation, lifecycle journeys, and send strategy

Engagement, retention, and in-app subscriptions across iOS and Android

App Store / Play lifecycle, push strategy, and new engagement features (tools, quizzes, games)

Build an A/B testing culture; define and track the metrics that matter — subscriber growth, open rate, conversion, LTV, engagement

Analytics with Amplitude / Mixpanel / GA4 Requirements:



4+ years in product/growth, with real, hands-on ownership of a subscription business

Demonstrable experience with email deliverability — you've planned an IP/domain warm-up, managed sender reputation, and understand exactly why a subdomain migration can crater open rates if it isn't done right

Experience with app product (in-app subscriptions, engagement, App Store / Play)

Strong analytics and experimentation background (Amplitude / Mixpanel / GA4, A/B testing)

An owner's mindset: you anticipate what a task actually requires and expand the scope when the work demands it, rather than executing a brief literally and handing it off

Excellent written English and comfort working async

Background at a subscription-driven digital publisher or media company

Familiarity with Google Discover / SEO and how it feeds a subscription funnel
