Selected Intern's Day-to-day Responsibilities Include

- Maintain a live record of current inventory - what we hold, what is running low, and what is already on order
- Compare current stock against planned stock levels and raise orders only where there is a gap
- Collect and compare quotes from vendors for the parts and materials specified by the design team
- Visit material markets across Mumbai to locate parts, meet suppliers and collect samples
- Find new and hard-to-find parts - identify who makes or stocks them and work out how to get them procured
- Identify and onboard new vendors, and keep the vendor register updated with contacts, rates and lead times
- Track every order from placement to delivery, and flag delays before they hold up a build




- Share a weekly update on stock position, open orders and new vendors added
