Oorjaa is looking for a detail-oriented and commercially driven

Procurement Specialist to manage the end-to-end buying process for lighting products and related categories. The role involves sourcing products, coordinating with vendors, managing inventory, tracking product performance, and ensuring timely availability of collections while maintaining quality and cost objectives.

Key Responsibilities

- Source and procure products in line with business requirements and brand positioning.

- Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with vendors for pricing, quality, and delivery timelines.

- Coordinate with design, production, warehouse, and sales teams to ensure smooth product launches.

- Monitor inventory levels and plan replenishment to avoid stock shortages or overstocking.

- Prepare purchase orders to vendors and track order execution until delivery.

- Analyze sales trends and product performance to recommend buying decisions.

- Maintain accurate product, pricing, and vendor records.

- Ensure timely follow-ups with vendors regarding production schedules and deliveries.

- Support new product development by coordinating samples and vendor communications.

- Monitor market trends,



competitor offerings, and customer preferences.

Requirements

- 3–6 years of experience in Buying, Merchandising, or Procurement.

- Experience in lighting, furniture, home décor, interiors, retail, or lifestyle brands is preferred.

- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.

- Positive analytical and inventory planning abilities.

- Proficiency in

Microsoft Excel and ERP/inventory management systems.

- Excellent communication and coordination skills.

- Ability to manage multiple vendors and deadlines simultaneously.
