Role & responsibilities:

Position Overview: You will be leading the site Procurement team, collaborate with cross-functional departments, and work closely with vendors to ensure timely delivery of material at site as per the user requirements.

Above role would cover the below:

- Be a part of project Site procurement team leading at least 4-5 buyers at site, looking after items related to safety, HR and Admin, civil and other miscellaneous mechanical and electrical items related to project and operations.
- Expediting the material until material receipt at site and follow-ups with vendors for pending deliverables as per orders. Same includes taking up expediting for any major project orders placed from HO for utility packages.
- Ensure Buyers review PR and technical specification for completeness and correctness and take up with required teams for ensuring completeness and correctness of the specifications.
- Ensure proposals are put forward for further approval only after necessary due diligence including re-checking of requirement and possibility of optimization from user, price benchmarks, vendor reliability, payment terms and delivery.
- Commercial discussion/ negotiation with bidders for meeting required price targets, budgets,



project delivery and other project and commercial requirements.
- Prepare proposal for management approval for placement of LOI/PO.
- Ensure timely preparation & release of LOI/ PO/ SO to supplier as per management approval and ensure timely acceptance of the same.
- Circulate awarded orders to concerned stake holders for their information and any further action from their end.
- Co-ordinate with supplier for submission of required bank guarantees (as applicable).
- Processing and release of timely payments to suppliers.
- Take feedback from required stake holders from execution team and evaluate bidders for future requirements and take required actions based on the performance feedback.
- Check previous purchase data prior to putting up proposals for approval
- Take up finalization of Annual Rate Contracts
- Develop supplier base for ongoing and future project requirements based on market research and feedback from business teams.

Knowledge & Skillset Requirements:

- Leadership: Should have experience of leading teams of 3-4 members for atleast 1 year
- Sourcing & Supply Chain Management
- Supplier Selection, contractor finalization for services at site and cost optimization.
- Expediting

Experience: 12-15 years in Mechanical/ Electrical in Manufacturing/ Renewable project procurement Desirable : B.E/B.Tech (Mechanical/ Electrical preferred)
