Designation: Associate - Procurement Associate
Office Location: The Oberoi Centre of Excellence, Delhi (Maidens Hotel Complex)
Position description: Procurement
Qualification/ Experience / Knowledge
· 2-3 Years of experience in Facility management/ QSR / food organizations
- Preferably working in hospitality / big hotel chains
- Working Knowledge of General & housekeeping and Services Purchase
Required work experience
· Industry: Manufacturing, FMCG, hospitality industry
· Role: Associate
· Years of experience: Minimum 2 yrs of Experience
- Procure General Stores, Housekeeping, Kitchen Crockery, Cutlery, Glassware, and operational consumables as per departmental requirements.
- Identify and develop reliable suppliers while ensuring quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery.
- Obtain quotations from vendors, prepare comparative statements, and negotiate favourable commercial terms.
- Create and process Purchase Orders (POs) and follow up for timely deliveries.
- Coordinate with Housekeeping, Kitchen, F&B;, Stores, and Finance departments to understand purchasing requirements.
- Conduct market research to identify new products, suppliers, and cost-saving opportunities.
- Ensure purchased items meet hotel quality standards and specifications.
- Resolve supplier-related issues concerning quality, quantity discrepancies, and delivery delays.
- Maintain procurement records, contracts, rate agreements, and vendor databases.
- • Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and internal control procedures.
