Technical Skills :

- Basic knowledge of processes related to Oil & Gas./Refinery/Petrochemicals

- Line sizing including liquid and vapor line sizing.

- Pump Hydraulic calculations including NPSH & head calculations.

- Relief valve sizing based on APL STD 520/521.

- Developing /updating process flow diagrams including Heat & Mass balance calculations.

- Developing/updating P&IDs;

- Equipment sizing & preparing process datasheets for Heat Exchangers, Atmospheric storage tanks, Distillation columns, Pumps, Compressors, Filters, Dryers , package units(e.g., N2 , generation plant, Fired heaters, Compressed air plants, Steam boiler, Water treatment plants)

- Preparing instrument process data sheets for pressure, flow, temperature & level instruments.

- Preparing other process drawings/calculations such as utility summary, line list, equipment list, electrical load list.

- Participating in HAZOPs and safety studies

- Lead and contribute to the development, review,



and optimization of process engineering designs for oil and gas facilities, adhering to industry standards and regulations.

- Conduct process simulations, feasibility studies, and risk assessments to ensure efficient and safe operations.

Software/System Skills :

- ASPEN,HYSYS,HTFS,FLARENET

- Understanding of codes and standards like API,ASME,BS, ANSI,TEMA

Special Skills :

- Good Communication in English (Written & Spoken) and Presentation Skills.

- Experience in Multi Discipline engineering setting.

- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, fostering their professional growth and development.

- Stay abreast of emerging technologies, best practices, and industry trends in process engineering for the oil and gas sector.
