Job Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled and dedicated Resin 3D Printer Repair Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing resin-based 3D printers, including those using SLA (Stereolithography) and DLP (Digital Light Processing) technologies. The ideal candidate will have expertise in resin 3D printing systems, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to perform maintenance on both hardware and software.

Key Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair issues with resin 3D printers, including hardware (motors, laser systems, projectors, LCD screens) and software (firmware, slicing issues).

Perform routine and preventive maintenance on resin 3D printers to ensure maximum efficiency and longevity.

Replace or repair key printer components such as build platforms, resin tanks, UV light sources, and electronics.

Calibrate and fine-tune printers to ensure accurate and high-quality prints.

Assist in the installation and configuration of resin 3D printers, ensuring they are set up correctly for operation.

Provide remote or on-site troubleshooting and support to clients as needed.

Test and verify repaired printers to ensure all components are functioning properly before returning to operation.

Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance activities, and any parts used.

Work closely with the technical support team to escalate and resolve complex issues.

Train users on the proper operation and maintenance of resin 3D printers to ensure optimal usage.





Stay updated on advancements in resin 3D printing technology and materials.

Qualifications

Bachelor s degree or equivalent technical certification in Engineering, Electronics, or a related field.

Proven experience working with resin-based 3D printers (SLA, DLP, or related technologies).

Strong understanding of the resin 3D printing process, including calibration, software configuration, and troubleshooting.

Hands-on experience with printer components such as lasers, projectors, LCD screens, and resin tanks.

Familiarity with 3D printing software (e.g., ChiTuBox, PrusaSlicer, etc.) and the related firmware.

Knowledge of safety protocols related to handling resin materials and chemicals.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Robust communication skills to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Ability to work independently, manage time efficiently, and prioritize tasks.

Willingness to travel to customer sites (if necessary).

Desirable Skills

Certification or training in resin 3D printer repair or maintenance.

Experience with advanced 3D printing materials (e.g., specialty resins, flexible or high-temperature resins).

Familiarity with 3D printer calibration and optimization techniques.

Experience with troubleshooting and upgrading printer firmware and software.

Knowledge of print quality diagnostics and troubleshooting techniques.
