We invite applications from distinguished academic leaders for the position of Principal of Patanjali Bhartiya Ayurvigyan Evam Anusandhan Sansthan and to work under the divine supervision of Yogrishi Param Pujya Swami ji Maharaj and Ayurveda Shiromani Acharya Balkrishna ji Maharaj. The successful candidate will serve as a source of inspiration in Ayurveda—guiding faculty and students, strengthening academic and clinical standards, promoting meaningful research, and fostering teamwork and institutional excellence.

Essential Qualifications:

- MD/MS (Ayurveda) from a recognized university.
- Valid registration with the appropriate State or Central Ayurveda Board.
- Ph.D. in the relevant Ayurveda discipline is preferred, subject to applicable NCISM and Uttarakhand Ayurved University norms.
- Must currently hold or have previously held the position of Professor in a recognized Ayurvedic medical college.
- Must possess the teaching and skilled experience prescribed under applicable NCISM regulations.
- Must fulfil all eligibility requirements prescribed by NCISM and Uttarakhand Ayurved University.

Experience Requirements:

- Minimum 15 years of teaching experience in a recognized Ayurvedic medical college, including the mandatory period of service at the Professor level prescribed under NCISM norms.
- Prior administrative experience is mandatory. Candidates must have served as a Principal, Vice-Principal, Medical Superintendent, Head of Department,



or in an equivalent leadership role at a recognized medical or Ayurvedic institution.
- Proven ability to lead collaboratively, promote team spirit, and build consensus across academic, clinical, and administrative departments.
- Demonstrated capacity to manage administrative responsibilities and institutional pressures with professionalism and composure.
- Ability to consistently meet institutional, university, and statutory timelines.
- Experience in NCISM and university compliance, inspections, accreditation processes, hospital administration, faculty development, or NAAC-related activities will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide overall academic, clinical, and administrative leadership to the college and its attached hospital.
- Ensure compliance with NCISM, Uttarakhand Ayurved University, State Ayurveda Board, and other applicable regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate inspections, approvals, affiliations, renewals, and regulatory submissions.
- Develop and implement strategies for academic excellence, research advancement, clinical quality, and institutional growth.
- Lead faculty recruitment, mentorship, development, and performance management.
- Promote a collaborative and accountable working environment across all departments.
- Encourage evidence-based Ayurvedic research, innovation, publications, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
- Oversee financial planning,



infrastructure development, and resource utilization in coordination with the management.
- Strengthen student welfare, professional discipline, and the overall quality of teaching and patient care.

Compensation:
