We are looking for a PL/SQL Developer with robust analytical and problem-solving skills to work on enterprise-grade banking applications built on the TSYS PRIME platform. The ideal candidate will develop, optimize, and support Oracle-based solutions while collaborating closely with business stakeholders, architects, and testers.

Key Responsibilities :-

· Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills with the ability to understand complex business processes, identify root causes, evaluate alternatives, and recommend optimal solutions.

· Demonstrated ability to analyze large datasets, transaction flows, system behavior, and production issues to derive actionable insights and drive informed decision-making.

· Strong development experience on the latest Oracle Database versions with exposure to

Agile delivery methodologies and iterative problem-solving approaches.

· Create Oracle tables, triggers, views, constraints, sequences, PL/SQL packages, stored procedures, and functions for enterprise-grade applications.





· Leverage advanced Oracle features such as BULK COLLECT, FORALL, indexing strategies, partitioning concepts, and query optimization techniques for high-

performance solutions.

· Perform SQL and PL/SQL performance analysis using Explain Plans, AWR reports,

execution statistics, and database performance tuning techniques.

· Experience in developing solutions on the TSYS PRIME platform, including design,

development, implementation, and hands-on experience with the PRIME Integration

Layer.

· Ability to interpret business requirements, perform impact analysis, identify dependencies, and translate requirements into scalable technical solutions.

· Expertise in payment systems, particularly Visa and Mastercard, with the ability to analyze authorization, settlement, and transaction processing flows.

· Collaborate effectively with business stakeholders, architects, testers, designers,

product managers, and operations teams to evaluate requirements and resolve complex issues.

· Conduct root cause analysis for production issues and implement sustainable corrective and preventive actions.

· Create Unix shell scripts and automation utilities to improve operational efficiency and streamline batch processes.

· Support UAT by designing meaningful test scenarios,



preparing representative test data,

validating outcomes, and assisting business users during sign-off.

· Provide timely workarounds and permanent fixes based on issue severity, business impact, and risk assessment.

· Apply engineering best practices to develop maintainable, scalable, secure, and high-

performance code.

· Build, monitor, and maintain CRON-based batch jobs for data uploads, extractions,

reconciliations, and operational processing.

· Prepare production deployment, release validation, and rollback strategies to ensure controlled and successful deployments.

· Strong reasoning and decision-making skills with the ability to balance technical,

operational, and business considerations.

· Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to present technical analysis and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

· Good documentation, reporting, and presentation skills with a structured and data-

driven approach.

Desired Candidate Profile:-

- 5–6 years of hands-on experience in Oracle PL/SQL, SQL, Stored Procedures, Functions, and Packages (all mandatory)
- Prior experience in Banking/Financial Services domain — transaction lifecycle, EOD/BOD, batch processing
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and decision-making skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication for both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to work independently and under pressure with strong ownership
