Job Summary

We are looking for a Pricing Executive to manage customer pricing and rate enquiries, obtain competitive freight rates from carriers and overseas partners, prepare quotations, and support the Sales and Customer Service teams in converting enquiries into bookings. The role requires strong analytical, negotiation, communication, and follow-up skills with a good understanding of freight forwarding operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Handle customer pricing and freight rate enquiries for import and export shipments.
- Obtain and negotiate competitive rates from shipping lines, airlines, co-loaders, overseas agents, and other service providers.
- Prepare accurate and competitive quotations based on customer requirements.
- Share quotations and freight rates with customers and the Sales team within the required timelines.
- Follow up on quotations and enquiries to improve quotation-to-booking conversion.
- Coordinate with the Sales and Customer Service teams regarding pricing, customer requirements, and shipment bookings.
- Calculate and verify freight charges, origin charges, destination charges, surcharges, and other applicable costs accurately.
- Maintain and regularly update rate sheets, pricing databases, and carrier/agent rate records.
- Monitor market freight rates, competitor pricing, and industry trends to ensure competitive quotations.
- Coordinate with shipping lines, airlines, co-loaders, and overseas agents for rate validity, availability,



and other pricing requirements.
- Ensure that all quotations are prepared accurately and include applicable terms, conditions, validity, and charges.
- Follow up with internal teams and customers for pending information required to finalize pricing.
- Support the Sales team with pricing solutions and suitable rates for new and existing customers.
- Maintain proper records of quotations, rates, negotiations, and booking conversions.
- Escalate pricing issues, rate discrepancies, or exceptional requirements to the reporting manager.
- Ensure timely completion of assigned pricing activities and support overall business development.

Required Skills & Competencies
- Good analytical and numerical skills.

- Strong follow-up and coordination skills.
- Good knowledge of Sea Freight, Air Freight, LCL, FCL, and Incoterms.
- Good knowledge of freight calculation and applicable shipping charges.
- Positive working knowledge of MS Excel and MS Office.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Qualification & Experience
- Qualification: Any Graduate / Bachelor's Degree.
- Experience: 3–4 years of experience in Pricing, Freight Forwarding, Logistics, Shipping, or a related field preferred.
- Candidates with hands-on experience in freight rate negotiation and quotation preparation will be preferred.

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
