Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Pre- Sales Design Engineer with a strong background in any field of engineering preferably mechanical to join our dynamic team.

The ideal candidate should have experience in Presales in project based organisation, HVAC industry, MEP industry or industrial/MEP infrastructure industry.

Roles and Responsibilities

Co-ordinate with sales and marketing team regarding new enquiries.

Provide compliance on pre-bid documents shared by client and consultant team.

Prepare quantitative analysis as per pre-bid drawings and specification shared by client and consultant.

Co-ordinate with design engineers, sales team and prepare required technical data sheets for recent enquiries.

Understanding project requirements and prepare related documentation.

Prepare project related technical data sheets and shop drawings for approval.

Communicate pre slares data after allotment of PO with design team for better co-ordination.

Collaborate with client and client-side consultant and General contractor for design related queries.

Prepare Bill of materials and project related manufacturing drawings with design engineer and jr. design engineer for mock up related activities.

Maintain comprehensive documentation throughout the process.

Stay updated with evolving codes of practice relevant to the product and system.

Operate primarily in an office environment,



but Pan-India level client site visits are mandatory

Excel in 2D and 3D modelling and assembly modelling in SolidWorks for TDS preparation.

Possess intermediate working knowledge of CAD software, including AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Revit or Navisworks.

Engage in strategic planning to improve design processes.

Provide CAD support for production teams.

Optimize manufacturing costs by improving designs and liaising with the manufacturing department.

Qualifications and Skills

Educational Background

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or any engineering field or min 3 years experience in infrastructure related project based industry

Experience

Minimum 1-3 years of experience as a design engineer, specification engineer , infrastructure engineer.

or min 3 years experience in pre-sales of infrastructure related project-based industry.

Technical Skills

Expertise in CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks.

Understanding of technical documentation, standards etc.

Proficiency in 2D/3D modelling and assembly modelling.

Additional Skills

Strong reading and learning skills

Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
