Position Overview

We are looking for a Senior Public Relations Executive who can independently manage PR activities, media relations, client communication, and day-to-day coordination at the Kharagpur location.

The ideal candidate should have good knowledge of Public Relations, Media Relations, Client Servicing, Social Media, and Corporate Communication.

This position requires someone who is confident, well-organized, proactive, and comfortable working directly with clients and media professionals.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day PR and media relations activities for assigned clients.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with journalists, media houses, and other relevant stakeholders.
- Coordinate with print, digital, television, and other media platforms for coverage and communication.
- Prepare and coordinate press releases, media notes, statements, briefs, and other communication materials.
- Identify relevant media opportunities and ensure maximum visibility for client initiatives.




- Act as a key point of contact between the client and the Cygnus Advertising team.
- Understand client requirements and coordinate with internal creative, content, and strategy teams.
- Support the planning and execution of PR campaigns, events, press meets, and communication activities.
- Monitor media coverage and prepare regular media updates/reports.
- Assist in social media communication and content coordination whenever required.
- Handle client communication professionally and ensure timely execution of assigned tasks.
- Support crisis communication and reputation management activities when required.
- Maintain strong professional relationships with clients, media, and other stakeholders.
- Ensure smooth execution of all communication and PR activities at the assigned location.

Ideal Candidate Profile

- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in Public Relations, Media Relations, Client Servicing, Corporate Communication, or Advertising.
- Graduate or Postgraduate in Mass Communication, Journalism, Public Relations, English, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of PR and media relations.
- Good contacts and working relationships with local/regional media will be an advantage.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Good command of English Hindi and Bengali.
- Confident in dealing with clients, journalists, and external stakeholders.
- Good presentation, coordination, and interpersonal skills.




- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under deadlines.
- Good understanding of social media platforms and digital communication.
- Basic knowledge of content creation, press releases, media notes, and communication planning.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as with a team.
- Should be willing to work in office at the client location in Kharagpur.
- Candidates who can join immediately or within a short notice period will be preferred.
