Role Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented PPC Engineer to manage production planning, scheduling, and control processes across our manufacturing operations, ensuring timely execution and optimal resource utilization.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and monitor daily, weekly, and monthly production plans based on order requirements and delivery timelines
- Coordinate with procurement, stores, and production departments to ensure material availability and smooth workflow
- Track and control work-in-progress (WIP) to minimize production delays and bottlenecks
- Analyze production capacity and machine/shift utilization; recommend improvements
- Maintain production MIS reports, dashboards, and status updates for management review
- Coordinate with the Galvanizing, Fabrication, and Machining departments to align schedules with customer delivery commitments




- Monitor raw material consumption and coordinate with the procurement team for timely replenishment
- Identify process inefficiencies and support implementation of corrective actions
- Ensure production documentation (job cards, route sheets, dispatch schedules) is accurate and up to date
- Support new order onboarding by preparing production feasibility and lead-time estimates
- Coordinate with the Quality team to ensure planned output meets required specifications

Required Skills & Qualifications

- B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Mechanical/Production/Industrial Engineering (or related field)
- 3–5 years of experience in Production Planning & Control, preferably in GI (Galvanized Iron), TLT (Transmission Line Towers), or structural steel/heavy fabrication industries
- Strong knowledge of production scheduling, capacity planning, and inventory management
- Proficiency in MS Excel; exposure to ERP/production planning software is a plus
- Good analytical, coordination, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing workplace
- Strong communication skills for cross-functional coordination
