Power Platform Developer

Role Summary

Support data-driven decision-making by designing and delivering scalable reporting, business applications, and automation solutions using the Microsoft Power Platform. This role focuses on developing dashboards, streamlining business processes, integrating data across systems through APIs, and delivering end-to-end solutions from data intake and processing through to reporting and presentation.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and develop interactive dashboards and reports using Microsoft Power BI.

- Design and deliver end-to-end business applications and automation solutions using Microsoft Power Platform, covering the complete user journey from data intake and processing through to reporting and presentation.

- Develop low-code applications using Microsoft Power Apps to support and automate business processes.

- Build and maintain automated workflows using Microsoft Power Automate to improve operational efficiency.

- Integrate Power Apps, Power Automate, SharePoint and Power BI to deliver scalable solutions that streamline business processes and support measurable business outcomes.

- Design and implement REST API integrations within Power Automate, including API calls, authentication where applicable, response handling, and JSON data transformation.

- Work with complex and nested JSON responses and data structures, including parsing, transformation, validation and mapping of API data.





- Integrate data from multiple sources and ensure data accuracy, consistency, performance and reliability across reporting and automation solutions.

- Partner with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.

- Explain and document the high-level architecture, data flow and design decisions behind solutions, including the interaction between applications, workflows, data sources, APIs and reporting layers.

Key Skills & Qualifications

- Hands-on experience designing and delivering end-to-end solutions using Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI and SharePoint.

- Strong hands-on experience with REST API integration, including API calls, authentication, JSON parsing, data transformation and handling complex API responses.

- Experience designing data flows covering user intake, data storage, processing, automation and reporting/presentation.

- Robust understanding of data modelling, visualization and reporting best practices.

- Experience working with complex/nested JSON structures and transforming API data for downstream processing and reporting.

- Ability to understand and explain solution architecture, data flow and integration between Power Platform components and external systems.

- Ability to analyse business requirements and translate them into scalable and practical technical solutions.

- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
