Responsibilities

Develop power electronic converters based on application requirement from prototype to production.

Development includes deciding topology and architecture, developing working prototypes, testing prototypes, and taking the prototypes to production meeting the manufacturing, reliability, regulatory requirements and certifications of the product.

Develop schematics, PCB layout design, support NPI for prototyping, and perform functional testing and debugging.

Additional responsibilities include task planning, preparation of schedules and estimates,

resolving technical problems with the customer and leading technical design.

Desired Qualifications Expertise

M.Tech/M.S/Ph.D degree in Electrical Engineering with minimum 5 years of experience in power electronics design and development, testing, certifications, and manufacturability.

Experience of at least 2 years in designing and development of solar inverters, UPS and battery charge controllers.

Must have worked in multiple AC-DC, DC-DC designs related to Buck, Boost, Flyback,

Forward, LLC, Half Full bridge topologies.

Working Experience in Analog and Digital design including Microcontrollers, FPGAs and

DSPs.

Demonstrated experience of testing, debugging and troubleshooting of Power Supplies and Analog Electronic Circuits and capability of analyzing and resolving them using state of the art Oscilloscopes, Power Analyzer etc.

Knowledge of EMI/EMC in power electronics application and preferable to have exposure to RF Conducted and Radiated Emissions/Susceptibility Testing.

Experience of 2-3 years in managing teams is an asset.

Results oriented; capable of delivering within deadlines.





Team player; able to work in cross functional team with minimum supervision.
