Job Title: Power BI Developer

Location: Pune (5 days work from office)

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Power BI Developer with strong expertise in data visualization, SQL to design, develop, and maintain insightful dashboards and reports.

The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders and data engineering teams to transform raw data into meaningful insights that drive decision-making.

Roles and Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports
- Gather and understand business requirements and translate them into analytical

solutions
- Write complex SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze data from multiple

sources
- Work with Netezza & Informatica for data processing, transformation, and

analytics
- Build and optimize data models using Power BI (DAX, Power Query)
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and performance optimization of reports




- Collaborate with data engineers to integrate data from data lakes and

warehouses
- Perform data validation and troubleshoot data-related issues
- Maintain documentation for reports, datasets, and data models
- Support ad-hoc analysis and reporting requests from stakeholders
- Follow best practices for data governance, security, and performance tuning

Required Skills and Qualifications

Technical Skills

- Solid experience with Power BI (Reports, Dashboards, DAX, Power Query)
- Proficiency in SQL (complex joins, subqueries, CTEs, performance tuning)
- Experience with Oracle / Netezza & ETL Tools like Alteryx / Informatica
- Good understanding of data modeling (star schema, snowflake schema)
- Experience working with large datasets and data lakes
- Knowledge of ETL processes
