Role Description The Poultry Sales Officer is a full time, on-site role based in Coimbatore. This role involves visiting poultry farms, dealers, and distributors to promote and sell the company’s feed and related products, while building and maintaining strong customer relationships.

The Poultry Sales

Officer will identify new business opportunities, achieve sales targets, collect market feedback, and report on competitor activities and customer needs. Day-to-day tasks include conducting product presentations, providing basic technical guidance on product usage, coordinating with internal teams for order processing and delivery, and preparing regular sales reports and forecasts.



The role also requires participation in local marketing initiatives, trade events, and outreach programs to increase brand visibility and market penetration.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong sales and negotiation skills, with the ability to meet and exceed defined targets.
- Candidates should possess good communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with farmers, dealers, and distributors.
- Candidates should possess basic knowledge of poultry farming practices and an interest in the agribusiness or animal nutrition sector.
- Candidates should possess solid organizational and time-management skills to plan field visits and manage multiple accounts.
- Candidates should possess proficiency in using mobile and computer applications for reporting, documentation, and communication.
- Relevant qualifications such as a diploma or degree in agriculture, animal husbandry, veterinary science, business, or a related field are beneficial.
- Prior experience in field sales, particularly in feed, livestock, or agricultural products, is an advantage.
- Ability to travel within the assigned territory and work independently while adhering to company policies is required.
