Roles and Responsibility:

- PLC, HMI and SCADA programming of control systems in a variety of platforms for water

and wastewater treatment systems.
- Hands-on Experience of Programming of Allen Bradley/Siemens PLC, HMI SCADA System

is a must (ControlLogix, RSLogix5000, FactoryTalk View-Machine Edition or Site Edition; TIA Portal etc.).
- Configuration and testing of PLC data and IO networks.
- Read and process engineering documents, including P&IDs;, Process design guidelines,

Electrical Schematics, Communications Network Architecture and engineering best practices guides.
- Collaborate in cross-functional project team discussions and meetings, and proactively

seek relevant details for programming deliverables.
- Interpret and follow contract and customer specifications.
- Contribute to the design of process controls strategies and documentation with operator

and equipment safety in mind.
- Manage within the defined budget, scope and schedule of a project and report risks and

opportunities to project managers in a timely manner.
- Lead/coordinate/guide other automation programming resourcesfor projects as

needed.
- Communicate in a formal, professional, and technical manner to various audiences.
- Provide timely support for field service teams during commissioning, trouble-shooting

and issue resolution.
- Establish, maintain, implement and follow Veolia standard practices for programming.




- Execute projects for a wide variety of Water Treatment Technologies will be a value

addition (including Ion Exchange, Immersed and Pressurized Ultra Filtration, Membrane Bioreactors, Reverse Osmosis, Electro Deionization, Electrodialysis Reversal, Thermal,

Conventional)

Participate in customer witness FAT, SAT and other related Control System checkouts as needed.
- Work with internal stakeholders to provide input up front in the project cycle including

design reviews and factory testing.
- Lead internal initiatives aimed at improving the automation team and greater business

and independently drive to closure.
- Occasional travel (~15%) for client meetings or customer site visits.
- Essential Responsibilities / Expectations :
- Three to Eight years experience developing Rockwell/Siemens based PLC, HMI and

SCADA
- programs for process control applications.
- Automation testing experience (simulation and/or field environment).
- Experience interpreting process control documents.
- Excellent written/verbal communication skills and problem-solving abilities.
- Proven ability to follow a set of procedures and standards, and extrapolate current

concepts from established standards.
