Role Description This is a full-time, in office PLC Programmer role based in Pune District. The PLC Programmer will develop, configure, and maintain PLC programs for SPMs and industrial automation projects, including integration with SCADA, HMI, and servo motion control systems. Day-to-day responsibilities include interpreting electrical and process diagrams, preparing logic and I/O maps, writing and testing PLC code, and commissioning systems at the workshop and client locations.

The role involves troubleshooting control systems, optimizing cycle times and safety logic, collaborating with mechanical, electrical, and embedded engineers,



and preparing documentation such as program backups, change logs, and user manuals. The PLC Programmer will also support retrofit projects, contribute to continuous improvement in standard code libraries and templates, and provide technical support during installation, trials, and after-sales service.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong PLC programming skills for platforms such as Siemens, Delta, Mitsubishi, or similar, including ladder logic, function blocks, and structured text.
- Candidates should possess skills in SCADA and HMI configuration, including screen design, tag mapping, alarms, trends, and basic reporting.
- Candidates should possess skills in industrial automation and control, such as understanding sensors, actuators, drives, servo systems, and safety interlocks.
- Candidates should possess skills in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, P&IDs;, wiring diagrams, and developing I/O lists and control philosophy documents.
- Candidates should possess skills in testing, troubleshooting, and fault diagnosis for PLC-based systems, including use of diagnostic tools, online monitoring, and root-cause analysis.
- Candidates should possess skills in basic industrial networking and communication protocols (e.g., Modbus, Profibus/Profinet, Ethernet/IP) for integration with SCADA, HMIs, and IoT gateways.
