• Analyze test failures, isolate root causes, and collaborate with engineering teams to drive timely fixes.
• Integrate and optimize automated tests within CI/CD pipelines to enable fast, reliable feedback on every build.
• Define automation best practices, coding standards,
and review processes to keep test code clean and scalable.
• Track and report quality metrics (pass rates, flaky tests, defect leakage) and continuously improve test stability.
• Contribute to test planning by identifying automation candidates, prioritizing coverage, and aligning with release timelines.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Engineering degree or equivalent practical experience. • 3–10 years of experience in QA/test automation with strong hands-on expertise in Playwright testing.
• Proven experience in test automation practices including test design, execution, and maintenance.
• Robust understanding of end-to-end testing concepts, regression strategy, and defect lifecycle management.
• Ability to write clear, maintainable automated tests and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience building or enhancing automation frameworks, including reusable components, reporting, and test data strategies. • Hands-on experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD workflows and improving pipeline reliability and speed.
• Strong debugging skills to identify flaky tests, environmental issues, and product defects with clear evidence and logs.
• Exposure to API testing and combining UI + API automation approaches to improve coverage and execution time.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor peers, drive automation best practices, and improve team-wide quality processes.
