Key Responsibilities

- Build and maintain the platform infrastructure supporting healthcare AI workflows.
- Support backend systems, APIs, databases, queues, file processing, and deployment pipelines.
- Improve system reliability, scalability, security, and performance.
- Set up and maintain CI/CD workflows, automated deployments, and environment management.
- Monitor application health, logs, errors, performance, and infrastructure usage.
- Manage cloud services, storage, databases, serverless functions, and background jobs.
- Support secure handling of healthcare data across platform services.
- Troubleshoot production issues and assist in root-cause analysis.
- Work with AI/ML and data teams to support model-serving, data pipelines, and batch-processing workflows.
- Create documentation for infrastructure setup, deployment processes, and operational procedures.
- Improve developer experience by automating repetitive engineering tasks.

Required Skills and Experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience in platform engineering, backend engineering, DevOps, cloud engineering, or related roles.
- Strong understanding of backend systems, APIs, databases, and deployment workflows.




- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, GCP, Vercel, Supabase, or similar.
- Experience with Git, CI/CD, Docker, and environment configuration.
- Good knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
- Scripting knowledge using Python, Bash, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
- Experience with logs, monitoring, alerts, and debugging production issues.
- Understanding of secure data handling, access control, environment secrets, and production permissions.
- Ability to work with engineering, data, AI/ML, and product teams.
- Solid ownership mindset and attention to detail.

Preferred Skills
- Experience with healthcare, claims, EOB, ERA, RCM, payer, or insurance data.
- Exposure to AI/ML infrastructure, model-serving, batch processing, or data pipelines.
- Familiarity with queues, background jobs, cron jobs, serverless functions, or workflow automation.
- Experience with Supabase, PostgreSQL, object storage, and edge/serverless functions.
- Understanding of observability tools such as Sentry, Datadog, Grafana, Logtail, or cloud logs.
- Exposure to security, compliance, audit logs, RBAC, and production access controls.
- Familiarity with Terraform, Kubernetes, or infrastructure-as-code is a plus.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Data Engineering, or a related field.
- Equivalent practical experience will also be considered.
