Role & responsibilities
1 . Responsible for achieving set targets, implement defined quality objectives in the plant
- Conduct studies on quality issues, guide team on process improvements, undertake projects as necessary to reduce / eliminate customer complaints and improve product quality standards
- Participate in the vendor development process ensuring supplier quality assurance
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the plant implementing initiatives to resolve quality issues, address customer complaints and improve customer satisfaction
- Provide support in budgeting and planning for the function in the plant
- Ensure quality audits, training is carried out to achieve higher standards in quality
- Responsible for managing the quality team
