Role Description The Plant Head is a full-time, on-site leadership role based in Surat, responsible for end-to-end management of the bottling plant. This position oversees daily plant operations, including production scheduling, resource allocation, and coordination across teams to meet volume, quality, and safety targets.

Head ensures strict compliance with quality control, hygiene, and regulatory standards, while driving continuous improvement in processes and equipment utilization. The role includes monitoring budgets, controlling operational costs, and optimizing productivity to support business growth.

Head also leads and develops plant staff, implements performance metrics, and collaborates with senior management on strategic initiatives and capacity expansion.

Qualifications

- Demonstrated expertise in plant operations and production management, with the ability to oversee end-to-end manufacturing activities.
- Solid skills in production planning and scheduling to ensure efficient use of resources and timely order fulfillment.
- Experience in quality control, with a track record of maintaining compliance with safety, hygiene, and regulatory standards.
- Ability to develop and manage budgets, monitor costs, and drive cost-effective operational performance.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, manufacturing, operations management, or a related field; advanced qualifications are an advantage.
- Proven leadership experience in FMCG, beverages, or similar high-volume manufacturing environments.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with proficiency in using production and reporting tools.
- Effective communication and people management skills, with the ability to coach teams and build a safety-focused culture.
- Willingness to work on-site in Surat and collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders.
