Job Summary

We are looking for an Engineer – Plant & Machinery (P&M;) to support the planning, coordination, documentation, and monitoring of construction equipment and machinery. The candidate will coordinate with project/site teams, vendors, and the Head Office for equipment requirements, deployment, maintenance, utilization, and related ERP activities.

Key Responsibilities

- Coordinate with project/site teams regarding Plant & Machinery requirements, deployment, and availability.
- Maintain records of construction equipment, machinery, vehicles, and other P&M; assets.
- Monitor equipment allocation, utilization, movement, and availability across projects.
- Coordinate with sites for machinery breakdowns, repairs, servicing, and preventive maintenance.
- Follow up with vendors/service providers for equipment repair, maintenance, and spare parts.
- Maintain P&M-related; documentation, reports, log sheets, service records, and equipment history.
- Assist in monitoring equipment operating hours, fuel consumption, maintenance schedules, and utilization.
- Coordinate equipment mobilization and demobilization between Head Office, project sites, and vendors.
- Update and maintain P&M; data in ERP and ensure accuracy of equipment-related transactions and records.
- Prepare periodic P&M; MIS reports covering equipment availability, utilization, breakdowns, maintenance, and deployment.
- Coordinate with Project, Purchase, Stores,



Accounts, and Administration teams for P&M-related; requirements.
- Assist in verification of equipment-related bills, service invoices, and supporting documents.
- Ensure timely updating of equipment records and maintain proper documentation for audit purposes.
- Support the P&M; team in cost monitoring and effective utilization of machinery.
- Perform other P&M-related; activities as assigned by the reporting manager.

Required Skills

- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
- 1 to 2 years of experience in Plant & Machinery / Equipment / Maintenance / Construction industry.
- Candidates with construction/EPC/infrastructure project experience will be preferred.
- Working knowledge of ERP systems is required.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and MS Office.
- Basic understanding of construction equipment and machinery.
- Positive coordination and follow-up skills.
- Ability to maintain records and prepare MIS reports.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with project sites, vendors, and internal departments.
- Willingness to learn and work in a project-oriented environment.

Preferred Exposure Experience/exposure in handling or coordinating equipment such as:
