Position: Production Planning Executive

Location: Panvel / Khalapur, Maharashtra

Job Responsibilities

- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production plans based on customer orders and delivery schedules.
- Coordinate with Production, Purchase, Stores, Quality, Upholstery, Cutting, Stitching, Foam, and Assembly departments to ensure smooth production flow.
- Monitor production progress against planned targets and identify delays or bottlenecks.
- Prepare and maintain production schedules, work orders, and daily production reports.
- Ensure availability of raw materials, components, and manpower as per the production plan.
- Follow up with the Stores and Purchase teams for timely availability of materials.
- Coordinate with production teams to prioritize urgent and export orders.
- Track order-wise production status from cutting to final assembly and dispatch.
- Analyze production capacity, manpower availability, machine capacity, and material requirements.
- Maintain proper production planning records and MIS reports.
- Monitor WIP (Work in Progress) and ensure minimum production lead time.
- Coordinate with Quality and Production teams to resolve production-related issues affecting delivery.
- Provide regular updates to management regarding production status, pending orders,



delays, and recovery plans.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to increase productivity and production efficiency.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Diploma / Bachelor's degree , MMS, BMS, MBA, Production, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- 1– 2 years of experience in production planning, PPC, or manufacturing operations.
- Experience in furniture, sofa, upholstery, or similar manufacturing industries will be preferred.
- Good knowledge of production planning, scheduling, inventory control, and material planning.
- Strong knowledge of MS Excel and production-related MIS reporting.
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems will be an advantage.
- Valuable analytical, coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple production priorities.
- Strong follow-up skills with different departments.
