Planning Engineer – High-Rise Projects

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Planning Engineer to manage project scheduling, progress monitoring, and coordination for our high-rise residential developments. The role requires robust knowledge of construction planning, project controls, and reporting to ensure projects are delivered within planned timelines and budgets.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, work programmes, and construction timelines.
- Prepare baseline schedules, look-ahead plans, and progress updates using Primavera P6 / MS Project.
- Monitor actual progress against planned schedules and identify delays, risks, and critical activities.
- Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, consultants, contractors, and procurement teams.
- Track manpower, materials, approvals, and other resources affecting project timelines.
- Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports, dashboards, and management presentations.
- Conduct delay analysis and recommend corrective and recovery measures.
- Support project teams with forecasting, resource planning, and timely completion of milestones.

Candidate Requirements

- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline.




- Minimum 4–5 years of experience in construction planning and project controls.
- Hands-on planning experience in high-rise residential building projects is essential.
- Strong proficiency in Primavera P6 and/or MS Project.
- Good understanding of construction sequencing, critical path analysis, resource planning, and project scheduling.
- Ability to interpret construction drawings, BOQs, and project documentation.
- Strong analytical, coordination, and reporting skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and project reporting tools.
- Experience working with developers or reputed contracting companies will be preferred.
