About Mahindra Pride Classroom (MPC)

Mahindra Pride Classroom (MPC), a CSR initiative supported by the Mahindra Group, has been empowering youth with industry-relevant skills since 2016. The program provides 40–120 hours of employability and domain training to students from Government Engineering Colleges, Polytechnics, Arts & Science Colleges, and ITIs across India.

MPC has empowered over 560,000 youth and supports students in accessing employment opportunities through placement drives and Job Utsavs.

About the Role

We are looking for a Placement Coordinator who will be responsible for building employer networks, generating job opportunities, facilitating student placements, organizing placement drives, and maintaining accurate placement data and documentation.

Key Responsibilities

Employer Engagement & Placement

- Develop and maintain relationships with employers, entrepreneurs, start-ups, and recruitment partners to generate job opportunities.
- Regularly identify and track job openings through employer networks and online research.
- Map suitable job opportunities with eligible students in coordination with State Coordinators and Class In-charges.
- Maintain an updated database of employers, vacancies, placement leads, and student placements.
- Monitor placement-related calls and ensure timely follow-up with students and employers.
- Conduct focused placement support sessions for students who are yet to be placed.

Job Utsav & Placement Drives

- Plan and coordinate Job Utsavs and other placement drives.
- Identify and onboard potential employers with relevant vacancies.




- Coordinate employer participation, student mapping, and placement documentation.
- Maintain complete and accurate data and records of all Job Utsavs.

Placement MIS & Documentation

- Generate and update placement leads on a weekly basis.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual placement reports within the stipulated timelines.
- Ensure accurate and error-free placement data in coordination with Class In-charges.
- Maintain placement proofs and supporting documents in both hard and soft formats.
- Track and report placement progress regularly to the concerned team.

Employer Engagement Activities

- Organize “Coffee Meet with Employers” for batches and facilitate interaction between students and employers.
- Invite employers/guests, coordinate documentation, and support the payment process as required.
- Identify organizations for Placement Exposure Visits and obtain necessary permissions.
- Coordinate formal communication, including invitation/request and thank-you emails.

Qualification
- Any Graduate / Post Graduate.

Experience
- 2–5 years of experience in placements, recruitment, employer engagement, or a related field.

Required Skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong networking and public relations skills.
- Good employer engagement and relationship-management skills.
- Strong coordination, follow-up, and reporting abilities.
- Proficiency in English and the local language.
- Basic proficiency in MS Office/Google Workspace and maintaining MIS/data.

Preferred Candidate Profile

Candidates with experience in campus placements, recruitment, employability programs, youth skilling, employer engagement, job fairs, or placement coordination will be preferred.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
