Conduct comprehensive patient histories and physical examinations.

Diagnose and treat acute and chronic medical conditions.

Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests and laboratory results.

Develop and implement treatment plans.

Prescribe medications and therapies in accordance with applicable regulations.

Perform medical procedures such as:

Suturing wounds

Incision and drainage

Splinting and casting

Joint injections

Minor surgical procedures

Assist physicians during surgeries or specialized procedures when required.

Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatments, medications, and preventive care.

Document patient encounters accurately in the electronic health record (EHR).

Coordinate care with physicians, nurses, specialists, and other healthcare professionals.

Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain compliance with healthcare regulations.
