Job Profile Summary - Physical Security Leader (Grade F)
Years of experience - 15+ Years Accountable for establishing, operating, and continuously improving the physical security function for Lloyds Technology Centre (LTC) India.
The role exists to deliver a locally operated, regulatorily compliant, and group-aligned physical security model, replacing the current structurally unfit operating construct and addressing identified risks across life safety, compliance, technology, and operations.
Owns end-to-end physical security across technology, operations, vendors,
governance, and people, ensuring the function is effective, auditable, and sustainable at scale.
Acts as the senior accountable leader for physical security at LTC, representing the function with LTC leadership, Group Security, regulators, and external agencies, and taking ownership of outcomes during incidents, audits, and regulatory engagements.
Success in role is defined by:
- Establishment of a fully operational local physical security model aligned to
Group standards
- Measurable reduction in life safety, compliance, and operational risk exposure
- Delivery of fit-for-purpose technology, vendor, and governance constructs
- Creation of a sustainable, high-performing Physical Security capability at LTC
Operating Model Ownership
- Owns the design, implementation, and steady-state operation of the LTC physical security model, ensuring it is locally administered, regulatorily compliant, and aligned to Group standards.
- Transitions LTC from a centrally administered model to a locally controlled operating model with defined Group oversight and information flows.
Transformation Delivery
- Leads the end-to-end physical security transformation programme, including:
o Technology replacement and platform modernisation o Network and infrastructure changes o Vendor exit and re-contracting o Establishment of local administration capability
- Delivers against defined risk priorities, timelines, and regulatory requirements.
Technology & Architecture
- Owns the physical security technology architecture for LTC, ensuring:
o Systems are fit for India operational requirements o Full compliance with applicable regulatory frameworks

- Oversees lifecycle management, resilience, and performance of all security systems.
Vendor & Commercial Ownership
- Defines and executes the physical security vendor strategy:
o Direct contract ownership o Competitive tendering and selection o Performance and SLA management
- Ensures vendors are capable, compliant, and aligned to LTC operational needs.
Regulatory & Compliance Accountability
- Accountable for ensuring LTC physical security meets all relevant legal,
regulatory, and Group standards.
- Ensures capability to respond to law enforcement requirements, data handling obligations, and audit expectations.
Governance & Reporting
- Establishes the physical security governance framework, including:
o Defined information flows to Group (real-time, periodic, on-demand)
o Performance metrics and reporting cadence o Escalation and incident management protocols
- Ensures complete, timely, and accurate visibility of physical security posture to LTC and Group stakeholders.
Risk Management & Assurance
- Owns physical security risk identification, assessment, and mitigation across LTC.
- Ensures continuous improvement of the control environment and demonstrable compliance.
Incident Leadership & Resilience
- Acts as the senior escalation point for physical security incidents.
- Defines and embeds emergency response, crisis management, and business continuity arrangements related to physical security.
People & Capability Build
- Builds and leads the LTC physical security function, including:
o Hiring and structuring the team o Capability development across operations and technology o Performance management and succession planning
- Establishes a sustainable model capable of independent operation.

Must Have – Skills and Experience
Core Capability
- Proven experience leading end-to-end physical security functions in a complex, regulated environment
- Demonstrated ownership of technology-led security environments (access control, CCTV, PSOC, surveillance systems)
- Strong understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements for physical security in India
Transformation & Delivery
- Proven track record of delivering large-scale transformation or operating model change
- Experience transitioning from centralised to distributed / locally governed models (or equivalent complexity)
Commercial & Vendor Management
- Experience operating with multiple vendors, SLA management and negotiations.
- Ability to manage multiple vendors across technology and operations
Risk & Governance
- Strong background in risk management, control environments, and audit/regulatory engagement
- Ability to translate risk and regulatory requirements into practical operating models and controls
Leadership
- Experience building and leading multi-disciplinary teams (technology +
operations)
- Ability to operate at senior stakeholder level (ExCo / Group / regulators)
