We are looking for an Assistant Photographer / Editor who is hands-on, creative, and detail-oriented — someone who can support shoots, contribute ideas, and handle end-to-end editing for social platforms.

Role Overview The Assistant Photographer / Editor will work closely with the content and social media teams to plan, shoot, and edit photos and videos for multiple brands. This role requires a balance of technical shooting skills, creative thinking, storytelling, and social media awareness .

You will assist in product shoots, testimonial videos, meme-based reels, behind-the-scenes content, and short-form videos , while also contributing to ideation and execution.

Key Responsibilities Photography & Videography

- Assist in shooting product photoshoots, lifestyle images, testimonials, and brand visuals .
- Capture vertical video content including reels, shorts, meme-based videos, BTS, and social-first formats.
- Handle basic camera setup, framing, composition, and shot execution .
- Support on-location and in-studio shoots as required.

Storyboarding & Pre-Production

- Collaborate with the content and social media teams to plan shoots and content formats .
- Help with storyboarding, shot lists, and reel structures for testimonials, memes, and campaigns.
- Participate in discussions to align visuals with content calendars and campaign goals .

Lighting & Shoot Setup

- Set up and manage basic lighting (continuous lights, softboxes, reflectors, practical lights) .




- Understand lighting needs for products, faces, food, and indoor environments .
- Ensure consistent lighting quality across shoots.

Creative Research & Ideation

- Research trending reels, meme formats, transitions, and visual styles .
- Bring new ideas, references, and inspirations for shoots and edits.
- Stay updated with Instagram, YouTube Shorts, and emerging visual trends .

Editing & Post-Production

- Edit photos (colour correction, retouching, cropping, optimisation).
- Edit reels, shorts, and videos with transitions, sound effects, subtitles, and basic motion elements.
- Format and optimise content for Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, and other platforms .
- Maintain organised storage of raw footage and final assets.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- 1–3 years of experience in photography, videography, or video editing .
- Good understanding of camera basics, framing, composition, and lighting .
- Proficiency in tools like Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects (basic), Lightroom, Photoshop, or similar .
- Familiarity with social media content formats and platform requirements .
- Ability to work collaboratively with content, design, and social media teams.

Good to Have

- Experience shooting products, testimonials, or short-form social content .
- Basic knowledge of motion graphics or text animation .
- Understanding of meme culture and internet trends.
- Ability to assist in creative planning beyond execution .
