Job Context

UltraTech Cement Limited has an annual capacity of 52 million tonnes. It manufactures and markets Ordinary Portland Cement Portland Blast Furnace Slag Cement and Portland Pozzalana Cement. It also manufactures ready mix concrete RMC. The company has 11 integrated plants one white cement plant one clinkerisation plant in UAE 15 grinding units 11 in India UltraTech Cement is the country largest exporter of cement clinker. The export markets span countries around the Indian Ocean Africa Europe and the Middle East.2 in UAE one in Bahrain and Bangladesh each and five terminals four in India and one in Sri Lanka. Sewagram Cement

Works was commissioned in 2009. The plant has clinker capacity of 3.6 MTPA and cement capacity of 2.4 MTPA. The Unit has two captive power plants (CPP) CPP-I with 35 MV and CPP-II with 22.5 MV capacity. The Unit has mines with reserve of 246.45 MT, a captive jetty, a desalination plant that can filter around 20 lakh litres of water every day and a bag-making plant. The plant also has an environmental cell which monitors air and water quality, audits, and conducts marine ecological studies and environmental studies of mines and nearby villages.

KRA1 Accountability- Maintenance & Trouble shooting of All types of Air conditioning and Refrigerator systems like Window type,Split Type, Package Unit Type, Air Cooled Chillers, Water Cooled Chillers,AHUs,Water coolers, Water purifiers,De-freezers,Telephone Exchange , Plant PA Systems, wireless walkie Talkie system ,Music system, Surveillance Cameras , Video conferencing,Road Weighbridges & Rail Inmotion weighbridges .

Maintenance & Trouble shooting of QC Lab equipments like XRF,XRD, Sample Grinding & Palletization M/C,Motorised Boom Barriers & Solar Traffic Blinkers.

etc. Assist superior in:Daily maintenace activity.

Ensuring Daily manual check List of self & technicians+ all Equipments working under rated accuracy + Keeping all Equipments under rated accuracy/Calibration maintain records.

Planned modifications for breakdown reduction.

Ensure 100 % availability of equipment and its health.

KRA2 Key System/Strategic projects/ Improvements/Modifications Completion of Capex with in scheduled time and without cost over run.

Increase automation for reduction of manual activities & operational excellence.

KRA3 Reduction of cost./Performance & talent management Reduced inventory by using common spares

Reduced inventory by repair the material in place of recent indent.

Institutionalize a Performance Driven Culture in the section.

Thorough study on subject + Report + Dept. Presentation + Carry out modification for improvement.

KRA4 Skill for working in SAP for all the Documentaion on day to day activities as well as ISO Documentation.

Awareness of Aditya Birla Excellence and Safety Standards Validation & Uploading of all equipment drawings/Documentation on Internal Portal.

Ensuring all Safety Procedures in section + Zero Fatality+ Reporting NMC+ Quality SO Rounds, Safety initiative for avoiding unsafe condition and prevent hazard.
