Gridzone Solutions Private Limited is looking for an experienced PF & ESI Compliance Consultant to manage and independently audit our statutory PF and ESI compliances. The consultant will be responsible for identifying compliance gaps, ensuring timely statutory requirements, and providing a quarterly compliance audit report.
Key Responsibilities
Review monthly EPF and ESI contributions, challans and ECR filings.
Reconcile payroll, salary registers, PF and ESI records.
Verify PF/ESI applicability for all employees and current joiners.
Review employee onboarding, exits, UAN, KYC and ESI registration records.
Check compliance related to contractors and outsourced manpower.
Identify discrepancies, short payments, delays, interest or penalty exposure.
Review statutory registers and supporting documentation.
Ensure compliance with applicable EPF, ESI and labour-law requirements.
Conduct a detailed quarterly PF & ESI compliance audit.
Prepare a written quarterly audit report highlighting:
Compliance status
Gaps/non-compliances
Financial exposure, if any
Corrective actions required
Priority and timelines for closure
Assist with PF/ESI notices, inspections and departmental queries, whenever required.
Maintain a compliance calendar and ensure timely follow-up on pending actions.
Provide practical recommendations to strengthen Gridzone’s statutory compliance process.
Required Experience
3–7 years of relevant experience in PF, ESI and labour-law compliance.
Strong knowledge of EPFO and ESIC procedures and portals.
Experience in conducting statutory compliance audits is preferred.
Experience with corporate payroll and employee records.
- Prior experience handling PF/ESI inspections or notices will be an advantage.
Engagement Preference
We are preferably looking for a consultant who can provide:
Monthly compliance review + Quarterly detailed audit + On-call support for notices/inspections.
Deliverables The consultant will be expected to provide a Quarterly Compliance Audit Report along with a clear action tracker for closure of identified gaps.
