Senior Analyst- Patient Level

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Senior Analyst – Patient-Level / Real World Data (RWD) Analytics with hands-on experience in healthcare data analytics and a solid understanding of patient-level data. The ideal candidate should have expertise in analyzing claims, EHR, specialty pharmacy, and other healthcare datasets, along with the confidence to independently lead client interactions and manage end-to-end analytics projects.

Key Responsibilities

Analyze large healthcare datasets, including claims, EHR, specialty pharmacy, and other patient-level data, to generate actionable business insights.

Develop and deliver patient analytics such as:

o Patient Journey o Treatment Pathways o Line of Therapy (LoT)

o Adherence & Persistence o Switching and Discontinuation Analysis o Patient Cohort Identification

Write, optimize, and maintain complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.

Perform data validation, quality checks, and ensure the accuracy and integrity of analytical outputs.

Independently manage end-to-end patient analytics projects—from requirement gathering through execution and final delivery.

Lead client meetings, gather business requirements, provide project status updates, and present analytical findings and recommendations.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business questions into analytical solutions.

Develop client-ready presentations, dashboards, and reports to effectively communicate insights.





Mentor and manage the work allocation and timelines of one full-time analyst/associate to ensure timely project delivery.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Biotechnology, Statistics, Healthcare Management, Data Analytics, or a related quantitative field.

2–4 years of experience in Patient-Level Analytics / Real World Data (RWD) Analytics.

Strong understanding of healthcare data sources such as:

o Medical & Pharmacy Claims o Electronic Health Records (EHR)

o Specialty Pharmacy Data o EMR and other Real-World Data sources

Hands-on experience in patient analytics including patient journey, treatment pathways, adherence, persistence, and line of therapy analyses.

Strong SQL skills for querying and analyzing large datasets.

Experience in data validation and quality assurance.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

Experience with visualization and reporting tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Excel.

Exposure to Python, R, or SAS for healthcare analytics is an added advantage.

Strong communication and presentation skills with experience in client-facing roles.

Ability to independently manage multiple projects and stakeholder expectations.
