Job Overview:

The Packaging Inventory Executive will oversee the management, tracking, and optimization of packaging materials inventory to ensure seamless production operations

This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

Key Responsibilities:

Inventory Management:

Monitor and maintain optimal stock levels of packaging materials (bottles, tubes, caps, labels, cartons, etc)

Conduct regular inventory audits and cycle counts to ensure accuracy

Implement FIFO (First-In-First-Out) and other inventory control best practices

Procurement & Coordination:

Collaborate with procurement and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of packaging materials

Track purchase orders and reconcile discrepancies with vendors

Production Support:

Work closely with production teams to ensure packaging materials are available as per schedules

Minimize production delays by proactively managing shortages or excess inventory

Reporting & Documentation:

Maintain accurate records of inventory movements (receipts, issues, returns)

Generate reports on stock levels, consumption trends, and wastage analysis

Quality & Compliance:

Ensure packaging materials meet quality standards and regulatory requirements





Assist in resolving packaging-related non-conformities

Qualifications & Skills:

Hard Skills:

Proficiency in inventory management software (eg SAP, Oracle, ERP systems)

Strong knowledge of Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data analysis)

Understanding of warehousing/logistics processes in a manufacturing setup

Soft Skills:

Attention to detail and high accuracy in record-keeping

Problem-solving and proactive approach to inventory challenges

Communication & teamwork to collaborate with cross-functional teams

Key Skills:

Store management, Raw Material, Packaging Material, Inventory, Stock Handling

Education:

Any Bachelor s degree

Preferred Experience:

2-4 years of experience in inventory management, preferably in FMCG, Cosmetics, Pharma, or Personal Care Manufacturing
