Company Description The NUS Agility Office, part of the Office of the President, drives university‑wide transformation and enables strategy across the institution. The team combines experienced core staff with rotating secondees and management associates on structured development pathways, creating a dynamic environment for learning and impact.

Working closely with colleagues across NUS, the office delivers strategic initiatives, leads change efforts, and strengthens the university’s ability to adapt and thrive. Grounded in organisational excellence, effective change leadership, and continuous talent development, the team co‑creates solutions that streamline processes, redesign structures, and build capabilities. Its overarching aim is to foster an agile, collaborative, and innovative university that is ready for the future.

Role Description The Owner of the NUS Agility Office is a full-time, in office leadership role based in Udupi, responsible for setting the office’s strategic direction and ensuring alignment with university-wide priorities. This role oversees the design and delivery of transformation initiatives, guiding teams in diagnosing organisational challenges, co‑creating solutions, and implementing changes that improve structures, processes, and capabilities.

The Owner leads and mentors core staff, secondees, and management associates, fostering a culture of agility, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Day-to-day responsibilities include stakeholder engagement with senior leadership and faculties, governance of key projects,



prioritisation of resources, and performance tracking against transformation goals. The role also involves representing the Agility Office in strategic forums, championing change leadership, and ensuring that learnings are captured and scaled across the university.

Qualifications

- Demonstrated experience in organisational transformation, strategy execution, or change management within complex institutions or large organizations.
- Strong leadership capabilities, including team management, mentoring, and the ability to build high-performing, diverse, and inclusive teams.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and negotiation skills, with a track record of working effectively with senior leaders and cross-functional teams.
- Proven ability to design and govern large-scale initiatives, including project prioritisation, resource allocation, and performance measurement.
- Background in process improvement and organisational design, with the ability to diagnose challenges and co‑create practical, sustainable solutions.
- Commitment to talent development, including experience establishing development pathways, rotational programmes, or capability-building initiatives.
- Relevant advanced degree (e.g., Business, Public Policy, Organizational Development, or related field) or equivalent experience in a transformation-focused role.
- Familiarity with higher education or public-sector environments is beneficial, along with an interest in innovation, agility, and future-focused institutional development.
