About The Role Gramik is seeking a dynamic and result-oriented Sales Manager – Market Linkage & Fresh Produce to drive institutional sales and build strong buyer networks for Gramik Fresh . The role involves connecting farm-sourced fresh produce (fruits, vegetables, and grains) to a wide range of institutional buyers including modern trade, quick commerce, HORECA, and wholesale markets.

The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in sales, negotiation, and customer relationship management, along with a well-established network in the fresh produce ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

- Business Development
- Identify and acquire new institutional buyers across modern trade, quick commerce, retail chains, HORECA, and wholesale markets.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with procurement managers and key decision-makers.
- Generate consistent purchase orders and establish annual supply agreements.
- Explore current markets, channels, and expansion opportunities.
- Sales & Revenue Management
- Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets.
- Maximize price realization and optimize margins across commodities.
- Drive repeat business from existing clients.
- Negotiate pricing, margins, and commercial agreements effectively.
- Customer Relationship Management
- Develop strong relationships with category buyers and procurement teams.
- Understand and align with customer-specific quality and supply requirements.
- Ensure timely communication on pricing, availability, and delivery schedules.
- Resolve customer complaints and quality concerns promptly.
- Market Intelligence




- Track mandi prices and monitor market trends across regions.
- Analyze seasonal demand patterns and competitor pricing.
- Share actionable insights with procurement and operations teams.
- Cross-Functional Coordination
- Collaborate closely with Procurement, Quality, Logistics, and Operations teams.
- Coordinate with Bright Store operations for order fulfillment.
- Ensure timely dispatch and smooth delivery execution.
- Maintain seamless end-to-end order management.
- Sales Planning & Forecasting
- Forecast demand based on customer trends and market insights.
- Maintain a strong weekly sales pipeline.
- Identify seasonal opportunities and plan inventory movement accordingly.

- Institutional & Wholesale: Food Processors, Manufacturers, Frozen Food Companies, Wholesalers, Mandis, Commission Agents, Traders, Distributors

Preferred Qualifications & Experience

- 3–8 years of experience in Fresh Produce, FMCG, Agri Trading, Wholesale, or Modern Trade Sales.
- Proven experience in handling institutional or retail chain clients.
- Strong existing network within Modern Trade, Quick Commerce, HORECA, or mandi ecosystem (preferred).
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Ability to work in a quick-paced, target-driven environment.
