Role Overview:

We are looking for an OT Technician Orthopaedics to provide clinical and technical support during orthopaedic surgical procedures. The role will primarily focus on OT/case support, with limited responsibility for sales, business development, and referrals.

Key Responsibilities

1. OT & Clinical Case Support – Primary Responsibility

- Provide technical and clinical support during TKR, THR, Revision TKR and Revision THR procedures.
- Attend in-town and outstation clinical cases as required.
- Coordinate with surgeons, OT staff, and hospital teams during procedures.
- Ensure availability, preparation, and proper handling of required medical devices/instruments.
- Provide technical guidance to healthcare professionals on the use and application of products.
- Ensure smooth execution of cases and address any product-related requirements during procedures.
- Maintain proper case usage records and documentation.

2. Product Knowledge & Training

- Develop robust knowledge of orthopaedic products, instruments, features, and applications.
- Conduct product demonstrations and provide basic product training to OT/hospital staff.
- Stay updated on product developments and relevant clinical practices.

Customer Coordination

- Build and maintain professional relationships with surgeons, OT staff, and hospital teams.
- Coordinate with customers regarding upcoming cases and product requirements.
- Ensure a high level of customer service and support.

4. Sales / Business Development / Referrals – Approx. 20%

- Support the sales team in identifying potential business opportunities.
- Assist with customer conversion and referrals where required.
- Identify opportunities for product usage and communicate them to the sales team.
- Support relationship management with surgeons and healthcare professionals.

5. Documentation & Travel

- Maintain accurate records of clinical cases, product usage, customer interactions, and expenses.
- Prepare and submit expense reports as per company guidelines.
- Willingness to travel extensively for local and outstation clinical cases.

Eligibility:
- 2–6 years of experience as an OT Technician / Surgical Technician / Clinical Support / Orthopaedic Technician.
- Nursing degree/diploma or relevant OT/Surgical qualification preferred.
- Experience in orthopaedic surgeries, particularly TKR, THR, Revision TKR/THR, will be highly preferred.
- Experience with medical devices/orthopaedic implants is an added advantage.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Willingness to travel for clinical case support.
