Role & responsibilities
- Explain the patient's eye condition and proposed treatment/procedure in easy language.
- Counsel patients regarding surgeries, investigations, treatment plans, and follow-up requirements.
- Address patient and attendant concerns and provide appropriate information.
- Explain expected outcomes, precautions, and post-treatment care.
- Conduct visual acuity, refraction, subjective/objective refraction, and other routine optometric tests.
- Perform preliminary screening for common ocular conditions.
Preferred candidate profile
- B.Optom / Bachelor of Optometry freshers are required.
