Scope

Curative and Preventive Healthcare Initiatives, covering the My Child Health preventive screening programme and the T.I.M.E Curative Health Program

Choice Foundation is looking for an experienced Operations Head to take complete ownership of its curative and preventive healthcare initiatives, including the My Child Health school screening programme and the T.I.M.E Curative Health Program. This senior, hands-on role covers programme management, team management, camp operations, oversight of the tech and statistician functions, and the Foundation's digital marketing, reporting directly to the CEO.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

- Program Management: Own end to end delivery of the My Child Health preventive screening programme and the T.I.M.E Curative Health Program across all active districts; set targets for schools covered, children screened and critical cases supported; plan rollout against academic calendars and government permissions; own the referral and intervention pathway for at-risk children.
- Team Management: Lead the complete cross-functional team, including Program Coordinators, DEO teams, nurses, doctors, psychologists, optometrists, audiologists and dental staff; recruit, train and manage a backup staff roster for every district; set explicit roles and reporting lines; conduct performance reviews and build a strong second line of leadership.




- Camp & Field Operations: Oversee planning and execution of every school screening camp, including onboarding, staff deployment, equipment readiness and daily scheduling; ensure complete, validated data and daily reports from every camp; maintain contingency plans for staff absence, non-cooperation and logistics failures; liaise with District Collectors, DEOs, MEOs and Principals.
- Technology Oversight: Oversee the tech team and the My Child Health software platform, reviewing feature priorities, platform stability and data security at a management level, without needing to be involved in day-to-day development or coding.
- Statistician Oversight: Oversee the Statistician function, reviewing data validation quality, key metrics such as completeness and screening yield, and the accuracy of figures used in reports and proposals, without personally performing the statistical analysis.
- Digital Marketing: Own the Foundation's digital presence, including social media, website updates and donor communication; plan a content calendar covering camp updates and impact stories; ensure all published content follows the Foundation's privacy rules and consistent branding.
- Government & Stakeholder Relations:



Build and maintain relationships with District Administration, Education Department officials and school leadership; present implementation plans and impact updates in coordination with the CEO.
- Compliance & Reporting: Keep the Foundation's SOPs and Roles & Responsibilities documentation current; ensure consent protocols are followed at every camp; own monthly and quarterly reporting to the CEO on reach, outcomes and budget utilisation.
- Budget & Resource Planning: Prepare and manage operating budgets for staffing, equipment, travel and technology; plan equipment procurement and calibration cycles; identify cost efficiencies without compromising screening quality.

Qualifications, Experience & Skills
- Any Degree / Postgraduate degree in Public Health, Healthcare Management, Business Administration or a related field, or equivalent industry experience; 8 to 12 years managing healthcare programmes, NGO operations or comparable field-intensive operations.
- Demonstrated experience leading large, distributed field teams; prior exposure to working with government departments or public health authorities is strongly preferred.
- Comfort overseeing technology and data functions at a management level, and familiarity with digital marketing, without needing a technical or analytics background personally.
- Strong stakeholder management, sound judgement under field pressure, working knowledge of Telugu and English, and willingness to travel across camp locations.

Pay: From ₹40,000.00 per month
