Operations Manager – Resort

Deep Sea Resort Andaman Pvt Ltd is looking for an experienced and responsible Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our 36-room resort located at Shaheed Dweep (Neil Island), Andaman & Nicobar Islands.

The ideal candidate should have a strong background in hotel/resort operations and be capable of managing teams, coordinating departments, maintaining service standards and ensuring an excellent guest experience.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee the daily operations of the resort and ensure smooth functioning of all departments.

Coordinate between Front Office, Reservations, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, Kitchen and other operational teams.

Supervise staff, allocate duties and monitor daily performance.

Ensure proper room readiness, cleanliness, service quality and operational standards.

Monitor guest satisfaction and handle guest complaints or operational issues professionally.

Coordinate guest arrivals, departures, special requests and VIP requirements.

Maintain staff discipline, grooming, attendance and workplace standards.

Conduct regular operational checks and identify areas for improvement.

Coordinate with vendors and suppliers when required.

Monitor operational inventory and ensure efficient use of supplies.

Ensure resort SOPs, hygiene standards and safety procedures are followed.

Prepare and share daily/regular operational updates with management.

Handle unexpected operational situations and resolve problems effectively.





Support management in improving guest experience, team performance and overall operational efficiency.

Requirements

Minimum 3 years of experience in hotel/resort operations.

Previous experience in a supervisory or managerial hospitality role preferred.

Strong leadership and team-management skills.

Excellent communication and guest-handling abilities.

Good knowledge of hotel/resort operations.

Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Ability to coordinate multiple departments and manage day-to-day operations independently.

Basic computer knowledge is required.

Experience with hotel PMS/reservation systems will be an advantage.

Willingness to work flexible hours according to operational requirements.

Salary & Perks

Salary: ₹20,000 – ₹25,000 per month, based on experience and suitability.
