Job Summary

Wipro is looking for an experienced Operations Manager to lead day-to-day operations for the Data Center project. The role will be responsible for ensuring smooth service delivery, team management, operational governance, incident escalations, client coordination, and compliance with SLA/KPI commitments. The Operations Manager will act as the primary interface between Wipro delivery teams and stakeholders for all operational matters.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage daily operations of the Data Center environment.
- Ensure adherence to agreed SLAs, KPIs, and operational processes.
- Lead and manage cross-functional teams including Network, Server, Storage, Backup, Security, and DC Operations.
- Monitor service performance and drive continuous service improvements.
- Handle major incidents, escalations, and critical customer issues.
- Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly operational review meetings with client stakeholders.
- Ensure timely resolution of incidents, service requests, and problem management activities.
- Manage resource planning, shift coverage, onboarding, and workforce utilization.
- Maintain operational reports, dashboards, RCA reports, and management updates.
- Ensure compliance with security policies, audit requirements, and operational guidelines.
- Coordinate with internal support teams, OEMs, and third-party vendors for issue resolution.




- Drive customer satisfaction through proactive communication and governance.

Required Skills & Experience

- 8-15 years of experience in IT Infrastructure Operations or Managed Services.
- Strong understanding of Data Center Operations and IT Service Management (ITIL).
- Experience managing large infrastructure teams in a 24x7 environment.
- Knowledge of Network, Compute, Storage, Backup, Security, and Cloud operations.
- Strong stakeholder management and customer-facing experience.
- Experience in handling P1/P2 incidents and service escalations.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and reporting skills.
- ITIL Foundation certification preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience working with Telecom or Data Center customers.
- Exposure to Nxtra, or similar enterprise data center environments.
- PMP, PRINCE2, ITIL, or Service Management certifications will be an added advantage.
