Job Title: Operations Executive – Orange Juice Vending Machines

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and hands-on Operations Executive to manage the day-to-day operations of our automated fresh beverage vending-machine network under the JoozATM brand.

The candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth machine operations, timely replenishment of raw materials and packaging, coordination with technicians and field staff, inventory management, hygiene and quality compliance, and monitoring the performance of machines and locations.

The ideal candidate should be comfortable working in a quick-growing startup environment, managing multiple activities simultaneously, solving field-level operational problems, and taking ownership of operational targets.

Key Responsibilities1. Machine Operations

- Monitor daily operation of all JoozATM vending machines.
- Ensure machines are operational, clean, hygienic, and adequately stocked.
- Monitor machine downtime and coordinate with technicians for quick resolution.
- Maintain preventive-maintenance schedules.
- Track machine performance and identify recurring operational issues.
- Coordinate machine installation, relocation and commissioning.

1. Raw Material & Inventory Management

- Plan and monitor procurement of oranges, lemons/limes and other raw materials.
- Coordinate with suppliers, transporters and warehouse personnel.
- Maintain adequate inventory levels at each operating location.
- Monitor fruit quality, wastage and shelf life.
- Maintain stock records for fruits, cups, straws, sealing films and other consumables.
- Develop systems to minimize material wastage and operational losses.

1. Field Operations

- Coordinate daily activities of field staff, machine operators and technicians.
- Plan machine visits, replenishment schedules and maintenance visits.
- Conduct regular site inspections.
- Ensure machines are operating according to company SOPs.
- Coordinate with malls, hospitals, railway stations, bus stands and other location partners whenever operational issues arise.

1. Hygiene & Quality Control

- Ensure strict compliance with food-safety and hygiene SOPs.
- Monitor cleaning and sanitation of machines.
- Conduct periodic quality checks.
- Ensure proper handling and storage of fruits and consumables.
- Maintain records of cleaning, maintenance and quality inspections.
- Immediately escalate food-quality or customer-safety issues.

1. Operations MIS & Reporting

Prepare and maintain daily/weekly/monthly reports covering:
- Machine-wise sales




- Cups sold
- Revenue
- Machine uptime/downtime
- Raw-material consumption
- Fruit wastage
- Inventory
- Maintenance activities
- Customer complaints
- Technician visits
- Operational expenses
- Location-wise performance

Use Excel/Google Sheets or other operational software to analyze performance and identify improvement opportunities.
1. Vendor & Logistics Coordination

- Coordinate with fruit suppliers, packaging suppliers, transporters and maintenance vendors.
- Obtain quotations and compare vendor pricing.
- Monitor timely delivery of materials.
- Maintain vendor performance records.
- Negotiate operational requirements wherever authorized.
- Develop alternative suppliers to reduce dependency on a single vendor.

1. Franchise Operations Support

Since JoozATM operates through a franchise model, the Operations Executive will also support franchisees by:
- Coordinating machine deployment.
- Training franchisee staff on basic operating procedures.
- Ensuring compliance with JoozATM SOPs.
- Monitoring franchisee operational performance.
- Supporting troubleshooting and escalation management.
- Ensuring timely supply of approved consumables/raw materials.
- Conducting periodic operational audits.

1. Customer Complaint Management

- Monitor customer complaints received through machines, phone, WhatsApp and other channels.
- Coordinate resolution with the relevant team.
- Track recurring complaints and identify root causes.
- Maintain complaint-resolution records.
- Improve operational processes based on customer feedback.

1. Cost Control & Process Improvement

- Identify opportunities to reduce operational costs.
- Minimize fruit and packaging wastage.
- Improve machine uptime and productivity.
- Optimize transportation and field-visit routes.
- Develop SOPs and checklists for recurring activities.
- Continuously improve operational efficiency as the machine network expands.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) The candidate will be evaluated on:
- Machine uptime: Target >95%
- Machine downtime response: Quick escalation and resolution
- Fruit wastage: Maintain within approved company limits
- Inventory accuracy: >98%
- On-time replenishment: >95%
- Preventive maintenance compliance: >95%

Candidate ProfileEssential Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Operations, Business Administration, Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field.
- 5+ years of relevant experience in operations management.
- Experience managing field operations, staff, vendors and logistics.
- Strong knowledge of Excel/Google Sheets.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership.

Preferred Experience Candidates with experience in any of the following industries will be preferred:
