An Operations Analyst is responsible for analyzing operational data, improving processes, tracking performance, and supporting business teams with data-driven insights. The role combines analytical thinking, process understanding, reporting, and cross-functional coordination to improve efficiency and business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

- Analyze operational data to identify trends, inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and improvement opportunities.

- Prepare regular reports, dashboards, and performance metrics for business and operations teams.

- Track key operational KPIs and highlight gaps against targets.

- Identify process inefficiencies and recommend practical improvements.

- Work with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and resolve operational issues.

- Maintain accurate operational data and ensure consistency across reports and systems.

- Automate recurring reports and manual operational processes where possible.

- Conduct root-cause analysis for operational issues and support corrective actions.

- Support forecasting, capacity planning, resource allocation, and performance analysis.

- Document business processes, workflows, and standard operating procedures.

- Monitor service levels, turnaround times, productivity, quality, and other operational metrics.

- Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and actionable manner.





Required Skills & Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, Economics, Engineering, Finance, or a related field.

- 2–6 years of experience in operations analytics, business analysis, process improvement, or a related role.

- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.

- Experience with SQL for data analysis and reporting.

- Experience creating dashboards using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or similar platforms.

- Robust analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Understanding of KPIs, operational metrics, and performance reporting.

- Ability to work with large datasets and identify meaningful patterns.

- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

- Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Good to Have

- Experience with Python or another scripting language for data analysis and automation.

- Knowledge of process improvement methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma.

- Experience with CRM, ERP, ticketing, or workflow management systems.

- Exposure to forecasting and capacity planning.

- Experience working in technology, SaaS, e-commerce, fintech, logistics, or other high-growth environments.

- Familiarity with automation tools and workflow platforms.
