Role Purpose- We are seeking an experienced and result oriented working qualified to establish and lead our site Operational Excellence function across our injectable manufacturing plant. This role will drive standardization, continuous improvement, and operational performance across Site manufacturing and packaging facilities, ensuring world-class manufacturing capabilities.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Operation Excellence:

- Implementation of Throughput improvement projects at site.
- Strategies initiator in developing OPEX culture across different sites and Impart training at shop floor for various OPEX program.
- Implementation of Short term and long term Strategy project with site and functional head.
- Implementation of Operational Excellence best practices i.e. Lean vision, strategy, policies, processes and procedures to aid and improve operational performance.
- Development of the Operational Organization structure with LIIO program, Manufacturing excellence, 5S, and lean 6 Sigma foundations.
- Implementation of Daily works management boards.
- To work with warehouse and GDSO for reducing inventory level.
- Ensuring cross functional meetings are happening and creating high impact on organization performance metric.
- Identifying gaps related to CGMP and Audit readiness and act with respective functional heads to close that creating all time audit readiness
- Strengthening the capability base on 5S, Lean and 6 Sigma fundamentals.




- To develop capability of site teams in problems solving the with OPEX tools ensuring sustainability.
- Implement good engineering practices at site with engineering head and other stack holders.
- To facilitate all financial tracking of OPEX projects and validate savings with corporate FIT.
- Work as part of the management team to share ideas and improve operation, recommending, supporting and implementing continuous improvement activities, process & procedure improvements to optimize results and improve quality of delivery, in line with quality standards requirements delivery in line with company and customer requirements.
- To conduct operator level awareness training from machine operating skills for setting the machine after changeovers and reducing change overtime
- Monitor implementation and progress of all initiatives and ensures transparency of performance to highlight achievements and issues.
- Collaborate with corporate and site leadership team to ensure that a detailed project plan is put in place for roll out of OPEX program interventions at site including culture survey, circle launches and circle members trainings.
- Liaise with the corporate and site team to plan and roll out best practices campaign on the shop floor targeted at improving frontline engagement.

Qualifications and skills

- Education: BE or ME in mechanical, production, or industrial engineering, with an MBA in Operations or Business Management being preferred.
- Experience: Experience of 12 to 15 years in OPEX in pharmaceutical OSD or FMCG or Automobile.
- Certification: TPM, Lean TPM, Six sigma Green belt, Power BI, Tableau
- A proven track record in operational excellence and continuous improvement is essential.
- Technical skills: Strong proficiency in data analysis tools like Advance MS Excel and reporting software is necessary.
- Soft skills: The ability to influence and work with cross-functional teams at all levels is vital. High interpersonal skill with excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and coordination skills are crucial.
