Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and arrange surgical instruments, sets, consumables and equipment before surgery.

- Maintain strict aseptic and sterile techniques throughout the procedure.

- Assist the surgeon by passing instruments and other required materials during surgery.

- Perform and document instrument, sponge, swab and needle counts before and after the procedure.

- Anticipate the surgeon's requirements and ensure timely availability of instruments and consumables.

- Assist in specimen handling, labeling and protected transfer to the laboratory.

- Maintain the sterile field and immediately report any breach of sterility.

- Ensure proper cleaning, segregation and transfer of used instruments to CSSD for sterilization.

- Assist in maintaining OT readiness for the next procedure.

- Follow hospital infection-control, patient-safety and OT protocols.

- Maintain accurate OT and nursing documentation.

- Assist during emergency procedures and other duties assigned by the OT In-charge.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
