About the Role

We are looking for a proficient Korean-English Interpreter to provide on-site interpretation and communication support at the LG Electronics site in Sri City.

The ideal candidate will facilitate smooth communication between Korean-speaking personnel and English-speaking/local staff, support day-to-day on-site operations, and assist with basic documentation, vendor coordination, and procurement-related activities as required.

The candidate should be comfortable working in an in office/field environment and be available to provide interpretation support whenever required based on operational needs.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide Korean-English and English-Korean interpretation during on-site meetings, discussions, instructions, and day-to-day business activities.
- Facilitate smooth communication between Korean-speaking personnel and local/English-speaking staff.
- Provide written communication support in Korean and English through messaging platforms, email, and other communication channels.
- Assist with basic document preparation, translation, and formatting as required.
- Support on-site personnel with material procurement and vendor coordination on an incidental/as-needed basis.
- Coordinate with local vendors, suppliers, service providers, and other stakeholders when required.
- Provide on-site/field interpretation support as and when required based on business and operational needs.
- Assist in resolving language-related communication gaps and ensure accurate understanding of instructions, requirements, and operational matters.
- Support communication between Korean management/personnel and local teams to ensure smooth execution of work.
- Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and accuracy while handling business communications and documents.
- Perform other reasonable language-support, coordination, and administrative duties as assigned.

Candidate Requirements

Educational Qualification





- Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com) in any specialization.

Korean Language Proficiency
- TOPIK Level 3 or above.
- Fluency in Korean and English, with strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Good understanding of Korean business communication and workplace etiquette.

Technical & Professional Skills
- Ability to communicate professionally through messaging platforms, email, and other digital communication channels.
- Basic proficiency in MS Office Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to prepare, translate, and format basic documents.
- Ability to coordinate with vendors and assist with basic procurement activities.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a multicultural and on-site work environment.
- Good organizational skills, adaptability, and a proactive approach to work.

Experience
- Prior experience as a Korean Interpreter, Translator, Coordinator, or experience working in a Korean company/project environment will be an advantage.
- Freshers with strong Korean and English communication skills may also be considered.

Job Requirements / Preferences
- On-site presence is mandatory at the LG Electronics site in Sri City, 517646.
- The candidate must be willing to work Monday to Saturday, 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM.
- Male candidates are preferred for this on-site role.
- Female candidates may also be considered if they are comfortable working in a field/on-site environment and are willing to travel to the field/site to provide interpretation support whenever required.
- The candidate should be flexible and comfortable providing interpretation support based on operational requirements.
